I often think about how amazing a mother’s love is for her child. From the moment of conception she embraces motherhood with an enormous amount of passion and love for her baby. For the next 9 months a relationship is developed that has the ability to stand through life’s most trying times. Through the agony of birth a seed of joy is planted and with every accomplishment that same seed is watered.
That kind of joy resides in the deepest reservoir of a mother’s soul; it can’t be easily seen but often felt. When she begins to brag about that child making straight A’s you can feel it, when she speaks of their talents and how proud she is you can feel it. There is an overwhelming sense of satisfaction she feels because of that child. When a mother says “You’re my pride and joy”, she means it, because that kind of joy only comes from the inside out! That child came from the fabric of her being and now, that child is the fruit of her labor.
That same kind of joy is what the Father feels when he says we are the apple of His eye and how we were fearfully and wonderfully made and that there is no good thing He would withhold from us. Today, take comfort in knowing that the One who created you looks upon you with joy and delight, even when you may feel that you don’t deserve it.
It is that kind of love that gives us unspeakable joy from the inside out.

Now, celebrate you the best way you know how. Today is a new day of awareness, possibility and joy… from the inside – OUT!
